SAN ANTONIO – No. 4 Trinity University Volleyball improved to 11-0 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play Saturday afternoon with a 3-0 victory (25-9, 25-10, 25-13) over Centenary College (LA).

The Tigers (20-3, 11-0 SCAC) put up the 12th-best match in program history by hitting percentage with a .506 mark against the Ladies, the most in a single match since the 2007 campaign.

Trinity's top three performers in total kills—Mackenzie Logan (Calgary, Alberta / Bishop Carroll), Sara Flynn (Seattle, Wash. / Roosevelt) and Maddie Fate (New York, N.Y. / Croton on Hudson)—combined for 28 of the Tigers' 51 kills on an overwhelming mark of .650 on the attack. Logan led the total with 13 kills, followed by Flynn's eight and Fate's seven.

The explosive offensive display was directed by setters senior Marisa Amarino (Calabasas, Calif. / Notre Dame) and first-year Jozie Dhayer (Houston, Texas / Summer Creek), who amassed 19 and 17 assists, respectively, while combining for 11 digs.

In her third-set appearance, junior middle blocker Carley Broekhuizen (Kalamazoo, Mich. / Kalamzoo Christian) executed her obligatory serving duty in the rotation to the tune of a career-high three service aces, which accounted for half of the team's output in the match.
