Trinity Women’s Golf Finishes Fourth at Lady Bulldog Classic

Seguin, Texas - The Trinity women's golf team finished in fourth place Tuesday at the Texas Lutheran University-hosted Lady Bulldog Classic.

 

HIGHLIGHTS

The Tigers shot a second-round 328 for a 656 total at the Starcke Park Municipal Course and were just four strokes behind the third-place team. 

Delaney Kelley was Trinity's top finisher and stood alone in seventh place. Kelley carded a second-round 79 for a 154 total, just four strokes behind the winner from the University of Texas-Dallas.

Raquel Hill shot an 80 and rose seven places to 15th place. Erin Farrow improved her standing from a tie for 22nd place to a tie for 16th. Joanna Kass, playing as an individual, finished in the #22 slot, while Sarah Buss tied for 24th.

 

NOTABLES

Delaney Kelley tied for the lead in par-3 scoring with a 3.25 average. Kelley was also tied for third in birdies with four on her card.

The Tigers will compete September 30-October 1 at the Mary Hardin-Baylor Invitational in Glenrose, Texas.
