Men’s Basketball Finishes Exhibition Slate with NCAA I Texas A&M-Corpus-Christi, 73-91

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Trinity University Men's Basketball took on NCAA I Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi as its second, and final, exhibition opponent of the 2022-23 campaign on the road Monday night.

The Tigers found a pair of double-digit scoring performances from junior Tanner Brown (San Antonio, Texas / Brandeis) and senior Kaleb Jenkins (New Orleans, La. / Metiarie Park) with 18 and 14 points, respectively. The duo also tallied the top two efforts on the glass with six rebounds for Brown, four for Jenkins.

All 20 active players hit the floor at some point for Trinity on the night, 16 of which saw at least five minutes of action.

The 18th-ranked Tigers head to Georgetown, Texas this weekend for the Paul Peak Classic, hosted by Southwestern University. Trinity will face Hamilton College (NY) Saturday and LeTourneau University Sunday, both slated for 5 p.m. tip-offs.
