San Antonio - The Trinity baseball team has been ranked fourth in the NCAA Division III by the final regular-season Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Poll.

Guided by 21st-year Head Coach Tim Scannell, the Tigers stand at 34-10 and are ranked second in the West Region. The Tigers meet Franklin (IN) College at 1:00 p.m. in the four-team double-elimination event.

16th-ranked Texas Lutheran plays #25 Concordia (TX) University in the other Friday game. Saturday's schedule consists of winners bracket and elimination games. The championship matchup will be played at noon Sunday, and a second game, if necessary, will take place 50 minutes after the opener.

The Regional champion advances to a two-team, best-of-three series Super Regional May 24-25. The NCAA Division III Championship is slated for May 31-June 5 at Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
